The elongated triangle shape has been difficult to piece in the past because of the excess seam allowance beyond the narrowest point. In addition, the diagonal seam does not exit the cut edge where you expect it.
It used to take an engineer to figure out the math, but now we've made easy templates for you to use and make long triangles a joy to use.
